The development of electronic technology, digital control technology, laser technology, microwave technology and high-pressure jet technology has brought new vitality to the automation, flexibility, intelligence and integration of furniture machinery, increasing the variety of machine tools and improving the technical level. The development trends at home and abroad are as follows:



 
(1) High and new technology intervenes in woodworking machinery to promote automation and intelligence. Whether the application of numerical control processing technology in woodworking machinery or the popularization of computer technology, it indicates that high and new technology is advancing to various technical fields. Electronic technology, nanotechnology, space technology and biotechnology are or will be widely used in the field of woodworking machinery.
 
(2) More imitation of metalworking means.
